The title of this book is Intermission, but it really should be called transition. For any fan of J.A. Armstrong or simply the "Off Screen" series, you will not be disappointed in this book. As Emma and Addy mature, welcome their baby daughter Vicki into their lives and deal with a hit TV series, they have become one in many ways, yet each still maintain a piece of the insecurity they carried into their relationship.Without spoiling the book in my review, this story does a great job of revealing the true being that each of the main characters really is, and we see that all the glitz and glam of hollywood is not what either needs or desires, as they both prepare to transition into the next phase of their lives to focus more on what is truly important to both. Also I will say that for Addy, a new adventure may begin, thanks in part to Emma's baking skills, and that story will make the next book in this series a must read.

definitely not expected. Great story.
living my non existent love life through one of my my favorite authors
As always, J.A. has a great way of drawing you right into the story. It never gets boring and it keeps me begging for more. Every book manage to tug at my heart strings. Again absolutely perfect.
I've never been brought to tears by a book. However that changed reading this book. Intermission was a beautiful love letter to two characters that I have come to love reading about. I look forward to reading this book over and over again.
This is a great book and a great ending to a wonderful love story. Read this one, don't miss out on that as Armstrong writes beautiful lesbian romance but any one regardless of gender can enjoy this story. A perfect ending!
I have to accept that I’m obsessed with the series, but not only this one. Love the books and the series(all of them). Emma & Addy their life in the spot light and Off Screen as Emma said “is more important “. Love the dynamics and the chemistry. Now to the next chapter.
All of the stories seem to have a similar yet different theme. A start, a problem, secrets, then bed. However, that's the beauty of it. Each time, in each book, the endings are the same but different. I followed this book since the first one came out, and crossed my fingers, begging for the second one.
I'm glad this book was written, because there had to be a story like this out there that could be defined as a great example to life out there.
This latest book had me really feeling it all in the end. I think this is the last book in the collection, but, if it's not, then I can't anticipate what could possibly happen next.
However, if it is, I couldn't even imagine a better ending.
